For the more adventurous, 127 miles of off-highway vehicle
(OHV) trails await with staging areas at Prospect, 1/4 mile
north of the Ranger station.

for solitude. Advanced skiers may even consider skiing around
Crater Lake while cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling
are wintertime favorites at Thousand Springs Snow Park, just
